CATFE Cat Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City Review

CATFE Cat Cafe is the second cat cafe I have visited so far when I was overseas. The very first one I had visited was Munchkin and the Gang Cat Cafe, located in the midst of Georgetown, Penang. It was for the very same reason that we decided to slot in a cat cafe for this Vietnam trip. Hanging out in an air-conditioned cat cafe seems like a suitable option since we would need to be at the airport by evening.

Although there were few cat cafes located around Ho Chi Minh City, we decided on CATFE Cat Cafe. It was located few street away from Silverland Bến Thành Hotel, where we were staying. Upon arriving at the 3-storey tall building of the cat cafe, there was already a crowd there. We paid an entrance fee, took off our shoes before proceeding in to explore the place.

Unlike Munchkin and the Gang Cat Cafe, CATFE Cat Cafe does not serve proper meals to customers. They only offer free flow of snacks as well drinks such as soda beverages and tea. Thankfully, we had already eaten our lunch elsewhere before heading over.

Most of the cats would be located either on the ground floor or on the third floor. The second floor has a grooming studio where staffs were seen grooming cats. After hanging around a while on the third floor, we decided to head back down to level 1. It felt pretty cramp since there were many people up there, already keeping the cats occupied.

All in all, we know it would be difficult to take photos with animals, including these cats. Fortunately, we did managed to capture a few shots of the more tamed cats around. I also ended up going back the the same 2-3 of my favorite cats since they enjoyed getting patted by me. Just like what I had mentioned before, the experience was so therapeutic! I would probably visit and blog about more animals cafes in future. In the meantime, do check out my other travel reviews too!
