Blossom Lounge Review (Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4)

Blossom Lounge is part of the Plaza Premium Lounge Network and SATS Premier Lounge, located in Changi Airport Terminal 4. I arrived a bit too early for my flight to Surabaya and decided to head up to Level 2, where the lounge is located. I wasn’t expecting much, as Terminal 4 mainly serves budget airlines.

AI used the first of my two free lounge accesses from my Citi Premier Miles Card. Despite being a slightly more than average traveler, I still don’t have much experience with airport lounges. My last visit was to the Song Hong Business Lounge at Noi Bai International Airport for the second time. I was also starting to feel a little hungry, as I hadn’t eaten breakfast yet.

Stepping into Blossom Lounge felt like walking into an upscale staff canteen staff canteen. Perhaps it was the setting, or the atmosphere which made me feel that way. The lounge featured soft lighting, elegant office-like furnishings, and a well-organized seating arrangement that allowed for both privacy and socializing. The access process was smooth, with friendly staff warmly welcoming guests.

Blossom Lounge offers a basic spread of food featuring a well-balanced selection of local and international cuisine. I helped myself to a plate of Singaporean laksa, which was rich and flavorful, followed by some pasta and sausages. I chose one of the individual cubicles or private pods to settle in as I ate. These are probably the only spots with charging points. There are also other food options such as salads, bread, kimchi fried rice, chicken, fish and cakes. However, I enjoyed the beverage station the most, as it offers a wide selection of hot and cold drinks, including coffee, tea, and a modest selection of alcoholic beverages.

Another thing that caught my attention was the freezer stocked with Udders ice cream! Unfortunately, only the vanilla flavor was available, and the texture was too icy due to condensation.

All in all, the staff at Blossom Lounge in Terminal 4 were quite attentive, ensuring that the food stations were consistently replenished. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the lounge were also commendable, reflecting the high standards of Changi Airport. It’s a great place to relax and dine before a flight, as it combines comfort, convenience, and quality service.

Anyway, I can’t wait to share more about my Surabaya trip! You may want to check out my other lounge reviews too!
