Street View Hotel Muar: Convenient & Budget-Friendly Stay

Street View Hotel Muar is conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from Bentayan Bus Terminal. It is also the very terminal where my friend and I alighted after travelling all the way from Singapore. For travelers arriving by bus, this location is undeniably practical. Beyond that, the hotel sits right within Muar’s central district, surrounded by streets filled with shops and hawker stalls. I love how it was perfect for a leisurely stroll and spontaneous food hunts without the need for transport.

Stepping into the hotel felt comfortable and inviting. The lobby features an artificial fireplace, with a Christmas tree set up nearby during our visit, adding a warm and cozy touch. After checking in, the hotel assigned us a room on the second floor, which was easily accessible via the lift.

Street View Hotel Muar – Deluxe Twin Room

Our Deluxe Twin Room was designed with simplicity in mind—small, but functional. There was slight mould around the toilet sink area and a couple of ants found near the drain. Toiletries such as body wash and shampoo were provided, but there were no toothbrushes or toothpaste, which might be something to take note of. The only aspect we truly disliked was the air-conditioning unit, as it blew directly towards our heads while we were sleeping.

Despite being a 3-star hotel, Street View Hotel Muar offers a surprisingly decent range of facilities. There is a water dispenser available at the lobby, along with a small gym and a rest area for guests. Complimentary coffee is available throughout the day, and in the morning, simple breakfast items such as bread are provided. These little gestures were thoughtful and added to the overall comfort of the stay.

Overall, Street View Hotel Muar stands out for its excellent location and affordability. Being so close to the bus terminal and right in the heart of Muar makes it an ideal hotel for travelers. While it may not offer luxury, it delivers a comfortable and reasonably priced stay compared to many other hotels in the area. I am glad that I made a sensible choice for my short trip as a budget-conscious traveler exploring Muar.
