Park Regis by Prince Singapore Hotel Review

Park Regis by Prince Singapore was recently launched, marking the global expansion of Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts. The hotel showcased 203 newly refurbished rooms; each features a distinctive design that celebrates the brand’s rich bicultural heritage.

I recently had the privilege to stay over in this new hotel, nestled in the midst of Singapore’s bustling business district, heritage streets of Chinatown and the vibrant nightlife of Clarke Quay. It was definitely a perfect retreat experience that weekend.

Upon arrival, I headed up to the hotel’s lobby, located at level 3. I was greeted warmly by the staff, who ensured my check-in was smooth and efficient. The hotel exudes an inviting atmosphere with its warm, earthy tones and natural wood elements, reflecting the timeless elegance of Australian influences. Japanese minimalism is also showcased
through clean lines, serene colour palettes, and understated decor to create a tranquil and uncluttered ambiance. With its office-like seating areas and the soft lighting at the lobby, it instantly set a calming tone for the stay.

Premier Queen with Pool Access and Other Facilities

My room was the Premier Queen with Pool Access, which has a private patio and premium amenities. As I entered the room, I found the space thoughtfully designed with contemporary furnishings, with the similar color palette that felt both elegant and relaxing. My attention was directed to the ”island” concept sink, with an attached mirror that could be lighted up. A small tap located at the sink is in fact a sustainability enhanced feature – a filtered water dispenser, eliminating the need for single-use plastic bottles. I also noticed that the room cards were wooden, allowing the hotel to eliminate the use of plastic too.

The Premier Queen room is also equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary coffee capsules for my in-room indulgence. A 50″ SMART TV and a bedside Bluetooth clock speaker allowed me to enjoy my favorite music while sipping on my coffee. Lastly, the bed was incredibly comfortable! I appreciated the blackout curtains which ensured a restful night’s sleep.

With the private patio, I had direct access to the hotel’s signature swimming pool and an exclusive decked patio! I immediately got changed into my trunks and headed over to unwind in the 25-metre outdoor lap pool. My pool experience was completed with the hotel’s cascading waterfall and semi-submerged sun lounges. I even got changed after dinner to work out in the well-equipped gym located right beside the pool.

Park Regis by Prince Singapore Breakfast Buffet

The following morning, I headed down to Cafe 23 which was located at the ground floor where I indulged in the hotel’s breakfast buffet spread. An array of local and international dishes was served, from pastries to cold cuts to sausages & eggs to soupy hor fan. I also had my usual serving of fruits such as fresh watermelons and a cup of hot tea.

In conclusion, staying at Park Regis by Prince Singapore was a fantastic experience. Whether you are traveling for business or leisure, the hotel’s blend of comfort, convenience, and service makes it an excellent choice. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and recharged.
