After the fascinating journey to Hue to visit the Imperial Citadel and a good night’s rest at Tam Family Homestay, its time to set off once again.
This time the journey involves riding a bus lying down! Yes, I spent my 2-3 hours long journey sleeping on the double decked design bus which I could lay back and snooze away. (Check out from the left picture above.)
Finally we have arrived at Hoi An, one of the biggest trading port in the region back in the 15th century. we alighted and made our way across Thu Bon River, crossed a couple of street to reach The Corner Homestay, our lodging for the next 2 nights.
The place was a pretty decent 3 storey homestay with multiple rooms on each level. The place was simple, homely and the window view reveal the street alley of Hoi An.
Breakfast was complimentary and each person was entitled to a banh mi, a short baguette filled with pulled meat, vegetable and sauce. Not forgetting a choice of orange juice, coffee or tea and some fruits as well.
Find out things to do at Hoi An on my next blog post! I have also covered on the things you can do at Hoi An here.
