National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC) offers more than just a “home away from home” bungalow stay.
Check out the following recreational activities my friends and I did during our stay at NSRCC! If you have missed Part 1: National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC) Bungalow Staycation Review, click here!
1) Windsurfing
Located just before the entrance to the main NSRCC clubhouse, there is a place for water-seeking adventurers! The NSRCC Sea Sports Centre offers various water sports activities such as sailing, stand-up paddling, kayaking, yachting, and powerboating lessons.
Thanks to a very patient instructor, Chua Tan Ching Christian (aka TC) from ConstantWindSG, I get to experience and enjoy windsurfing. He trained me on some of the theories and gave pointers to take note of. Even out at sea, he kept pushing me to be more confident and avoid making the same mistakes.
I finally got windsurfing ticked off my bucket list! Just remember to apply plenty of sunblocks to avoid sunburn.
2) Fitness Centre
Fitness enthusiasts will be glad to know that the fitness centre is well equipped with various machines as well as shower facilities. However, the access is only exclusive to NSRCC members. Personal training is available for members at a discounted rate!
3) Swimming Pool
Nothing beats the heat than jumping right into the resort-size swimming pool! There are wading pools and a water sprinklers section which are kids friendly. There are many pool deck sunbeds located around the pool, perfect for those who love to suntan.
4) Billiards Room
For the real billiards players out there unlike us! Members get priority booking as well as a members-only discounted rate.
5) Bowling at Resort Bowl
Another activity that allows us to compete against each other for the most points would be bowling! Shoe rental is available and a discounted rate for members too!
Since my friends and I stayed over at NSRCC only for 3D2N, we could only squeeze in this many activities. You might want to rent bicycles to ride along the nearby beach, play Nitendo switch in the games room or even visit the family zone for arcade gaming! Yes, there are also mahjong rooms for hardcore mahjong fans.
Where and what to eat at National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC)?
Besides recreational activities, NSRCC has a couple of dining venues to satisfy one’s tummy.
1) Passion Cafe
Passion Cafe overlooks the golf course that features a water landscape, making it a beautiful view to enjoy! Serving local fare from breakfast to dinner, Passion Cafe is a pitstop for the golfers to have a break. Western and Japanese food options are available too.
2) Sky Bistro
Sky Bistro is located at the top of the sky range and the place offers a scenic view of the golf range. Check out their extensive food options from appetisers to desserts.
Grab a glass of cocktail and enjoy the meal, as you watch the sunset would definitely give you a memorable experience!
All non-NSRCC members are in fact welcome to enjoy or dine at National Service Resort & Country Club. (Unless stated such as fitness centre.) For more details, do check out NSRCC website!
