Kin Hotel Central Park is located in District 3 and directly facing the lush greenery of Le Van Tam Park. It was my first time choosing a hotel outside my usual District 1 accommodations. After spending more than two fulfilling days exploring the attractions of Tay Ninh, I am back to the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City.
As a solo traveler, I found the pricing to be very reasonable, especially since I opted for a no-window room. What ultimately convinced me to book the hotel was its impressive range of wellness facilities. That includes a small gym, two outdoor jacuzzi tubs, a steam room, and a sauna. As I planned this trip to be more about relaxation than sightseeing, these facilities added significant value to my stay.
Kin Hotel Central Park Modern, Green-Inspired Sanctuary
Upon arriving at the hotel by Grab, I was drawn to its modern façade and thoughtfully designed green-inspired interiors. Kin Hotel Central Park is newly built and embraces a green-inspired aesthetic that blends earthy tones with botanical motifs. Even in the midst of Ho Chi Ming City chaotic energy, the hotel succeeds in creating a relaxing and welcoming environment. I felt like I was in an urban sanctuary away from the city’s constant buzz.
Following a welcome drink and a smooth check-in process, I made my way to my room on Level 4. Interestingly, this was the same floor as the gym and wellness facilities. Depending on one’s preference, this could either be convenient or slightly less private due to the increased foot traffic along the corridor.
Upon entering the room, my first impression was that it felt rather compact. Although compact, the room’s layout made efficient use of the available space. The queen-sized bed occupied the far end of the room and the soft ambient lighting, created a cozy and inviting space.
The room’s design leaned heavily on earthy greens, warm bronze accents, and nature-inspired patterns. It very much complemented the hotel’s overall theme. Despite its modest size, the room came equipped with all the necessary amenities for a short stay.
One feature I appreciated was the bathroom rain shower which provided a refreshing experience after a long of travel. The toilet bowl area could be a bit cramp but plus size people though.
While travellers who prefer natural daylight may find the lack of windows restrictive, I personally found the room perfectly adequate for a solo stay, especially given the attractive room rate.
Breakfast at Kin Hotel Central Park
As breakfast was included, I took the opportunity to enjoy the buffet on both mornings. While the buffet selection was not particularly extensive, I found it more than sufficient to start the day.
What I enjoyed most was the balance between Vietnamese and international offerings. Guests could sample local favorites alongside familiar Western breakfast staples, providing enough variety without being overwhelming. Replenishment might not be exactly prompt, but still, I left the dining area feeling well-fed and ready for the day ahead.
Overall Experience
Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay at Kin Hotel Central Park. May falls within Ho Chi Minh City’s rainy season, and most afternoons during my visit were accompanied by rainfall. The unpredictable weather dampened my enthusiasm for exploring the streets on foot, particularly when the rain persisted for several hours.
Thankfully, the hotel’s wellness facilities proved to be an excellent alternative. I enjoyed unwinding in the jacuzzi and spending some quiet time in the sauna. It forced me to be able to slow down, recharge, and enjoy some much-needed personal downtime.
The location is another strong point. Situated in the heart of District 3, the hotel enjoys a convenient location surrounded by an abundance of cafés, restaurants, and local eateries. A walk of less than ten minutes brings visitors to Tân Định Market. There is where you can browse local products, sample Vietnamese food, and experience daily life alongside local residents.
For travelers seeking a reasonably priced stay with good wellness facilities, a convenient central location, and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busiest parts of District 1, Kin Hotel Central Park is certainly worth considering.
