UK Farm Agro Resort: An Authentic Farm Experience in Kluang

When exploring the city of Kluang, one destination that stands out is the UK Farm Agro Resort. Despite being a short 25-minute drive away, it is one of the region’s top agro-tourism spots, alongside Zenxin Organic Park. While Zenxin emphasizes organic produce and sustainable agriculture, UK Farm Agro Resort features its engaging animal farm encounters. Each farm offers its own unique experiences, making them an excellent choice for families.

After a satisfying local breakfast, we booked a Grab and headed straight to UK Farm Agro Resort. The farm offers various packages tailored to children of different age groups, guided tours, and even chalet stays. It offers both fun and learning, giving city dwellers the chance to experience farm life firsthand.

UK Farm Experiences

At the reception, we opted for the RM35 farm tour package, which included an in-house guide and a set of feeds. Each pax received a coupon for bottle-feeding goat milk, dried corn, dried grass, and two packs of granules meant for cows and deer. Our tour kicked off with a peek into the chick incubators and a stroll through a mini bird park. Feeding the deer was a delightful experience, as they eagerly munched on the feed we provided. The chickens and geese, however, seemed less interested, perhaps already full from earlier visitors. We kept our distance from the caged monkeys, who had a reputation for snatching feed packs.

We continued to a small but entertaining blow dart performance, where the performer impressively shot down balloons from afar. A brief demonstration followed, showcasing the farm’s irrigation method using a drone. It was a modern touch to an otherwise traditional setting.

The highlight for many was the goat farm, where we bottle-fed goats and sampled a range of goat’s milk products. The red dates flavored milk stood out for its unique taste, which was not available in Singapore. I decided to purchase a bottle to enjoy. They also offered samples of yogurt, and I quite liked the blueberry flavor. At the cow section, we hand-fed dried grass to the cattle before moving on.

The sun was blazing by midday, and the heat started to catch up with us. Thankfully, a farm shuttle took us over to a plantation area where they grew gac fruits. They sold bottled gac juice there—something we rarely find back home in Singapore.

After exploring the plantation, we returned to the main area where visitors could browse and purchase souvenirs from the farm shop.

In conclusion, UK Farm Agro Resort offers more than just an animal feeding farm. It is an immersive and educational farm experience ideal for families, nature lovers, and tourists. With thoughtfully designed routes and activities, knowledgeable guides, and unique local produce, the farm offered a memorable half-day trip when visiting Kluang. Whether you’re feeding animals, sampling fresh dairy products, or simply enjoying the countryside, it’s a wholesome escape worth the short journey out of town.
