Amira Hotel Hanoi is a 4-star boutique hotel located at the heart of Hanoi’s historic old quarter and Vietnam’s famous 36 streets. It combines traditional culture and Indochine design, hosting 36 guest rooms.
From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming and ensured a smooth check-in process. The lobby, though modest, exuded a charming vibe, with Christmas decorations enhancing the festive atmosphere. We immediately headed up to our Superior Double Room to drop off our luggage before heading out again.
Our room was decent, clean, with tasteful furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had all the standard amenities we needed. The room reminded me of another hotel – Mina Hotel and Spa, which I stayed over at 2 years ago when visiting Hanoi. Its location is just a street across from Amira Hotel Hanoi.
The hotel may not be large or have a rooftop pool like others, but it features an all-day dining restaurant and a rooftop bar. The bar provides a beautiful view of the old town cityscape and is a great spot to relax while watching the sunset.
The following morning, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet at the restaurant, which primarily featured Asian breakfast dishes. The spread wasn’t extensive but included pho soup, bread, salad, fruits, and more.

Since we will be staying at Amira Hotel Hanoi for a night, we made the most of our time by exploring the streets. We walked all the way to Hoan Kiem Lake, stopped for lunch at Pizza 4P’s, and shopped along the way.
There are many hidden alleys, cafés, and restaurants that I would love to explore and uncover in Hanoi. Time is a constraint since we had planned our first 5 days staying over at Sapa and Lao Cai. I wanted to enjoy the cold season in Sapa and it was colder than I thought. I will definitely be back in Hanoi soon!
Do check out my other hotel reviews too!
