A Singapore brand established since 2005, Chui Lau Heung is known for its durian snowy mooncakes (Mao Shan Wang Durian Crystal Mooncakes), durian pastries as well as desserts. Due to their continuous efforts to implement innovation into their creations yet retaining the quality, Chui Lau Heung had managed to hit the shelves of international markets as well.
One such innovative creation would be their Mini Mao Shan Wang Durian Crystal Mooncakes as shown, which comes in a dazzling “jewel façade” box. In packs of 2 and a total of 6 pieces, each mooncake had a translucent white skin of gelatinous texture. Choose to eat it frozen or let it defrost before consumption and enjoy the exotic taste of durian.
Besides their mooncakes, Chui Lau Heung also carries other range of products such as their Vegetarian Bak Kwa, under the brand of 155 South Bridge. I love this meat-free healthier option, slightly sweetened and tasted slightly of soy and mushroom if I am not mistaken. It has a nice bite to it and comes in 2 inner packets of about 100g each.
