Datanla New Alpine Coaster in Dalat is a trip that promises an exhilarating and unforgettable experience. Especially when it involves riding a coaster amidst the stunning natural beauty of the region.
We woke up early morning as Datanla New Alpine Coaster would be our first stop of that day. The air was still misty and slightly chilly since the sun has not reach its hottest peak till afternoon. Our booked transport arrived on time to take us up to the mountainous terrain.
Since it was still quite early when we arrived at our destination, it were no crowd. Our tickets cost us 250 000 VND each, which entitled us a round trip coaster ride to Datanla Falls. Evidently, visiting a waterfall without the need to hike is a definitely one of the best thing to hear!
Taking the is the Alpine Coaster is the choice most visitors select to reach to the waterfall. We queued for less than 5 minutes before our turn. Although each cart is good for 2 people to ride, we decided to ride individually. The whole roller course is about 1 km long, running down through the trees. There are hand brake to adjust the speed of how fast you would like your coaster to go. The air was still pretty cold in the morning and dashing through sent shivers through my body.
Datanla Falls and Other Activities
Upon reaching Datanla Falls at the bottom of the hill, I could hear the sounds of gushing water. The place looks like a tiny village and offer many photo opportunities. Obviously, the highlights of the place would the waterfall itself.
If you are a fan of the great outdoors and physical activity, there is a high rope course area to do so. Aside from that, abseiling, canyoning or even zipline through the forest options are also available.
In conclusion, remember to appreciate the natural beauty around you. The Datanla area is known for its picturesque landscapes, so don’t rush through the experience. Take your time to enjoy the Alpine Coaster ride back to the main entrance.
